Greg Nunn, Executive Vice President
Having extensive executive experience and a proven track record of working on firearms and defense related products, Greg is the ideal operations manager for Shooting Solutions. From managing large manufacturing facilities to ensuring regulatory compliance, Greg's background is perfect for a defense related company like Shooting Solutions. Greg's shooting background is quite diverse and includes small bore, sub gun, military rifle, and fifty caliber matches.
Bob Golding, Vice President Design Engineering
A professional background in mechanical and electrical engineering,
Bob has extensive firearms knowledge from growing up in a
family-owned gunsmithing business. Combining his engineering
skills in CAD/CAM and Stress Analysis with his lifelong love affair
with firearms, Bob is the ideal director of design for Shooting
Solutions. His shooting background has been weighted towards
NRA High Power Rifle and other bull's-eye disciplines.
The Company Today
As serious enthusiasts we have been building firearms and accessories for our own personal use for many years, and decided that many of our personal projects could fill unmet niches in the shooting community at large. We started Shooting Solutions with the idea of slowly developing our ideas, bringing them to market as time permitted, and growing the Company gradually over several years.
Our schedule changed when we realized that our SSgn belt fed had
serious defense potential. We knew we had a product and a concept
that could work and that we presently lacked the resources to
advance development as rapidly as it could be done. Rather than
spend several years in private development, we decided to look for companies to partner with and/or
license to in order to advance development of our rocket defense
products. Time is
money, and the more money put into the project, the less time it
will take to field the weapon, and the more lives it will save.
Systems exist right now that can be adapted to fire with our gun,
replacing anti-rocket missiles, launching nets, firing Phalanx-type
guns, firing active armor, launching ball bearings and all sorts of
other complex ideas.
Shooting Solutions method makes the most sense and offers the
quickest and least expensive route to the battlefield as it uses a
simple and robust design as well as commercial off-the-shelf
technology.
It is worth researching and developing.
Our first two products are shotgun products, yet none of us count
the shotgun as our dominant choice of weapon. It is just so
adaptable to so many uses it is hard to ignore. We will also have more
shotgun projects coming soon.
